This website was established by the Curlew Committee for the benefit of the island community, and possibly for our own amusement.

Our qualifications include long legs, piercing stares, strong opinions, and an instinctive understanding of composition, balance, and dramatic pause.

Here you will find clay, nature, pixels, odd things, and other cultural contributions deemed worthy by the Committee.

There is no grand statement here, and certainly no polished empire. Just a gathering place for creative work.
